About Us

The Wellfleet Chamber Scholarship, an independent arm of the Wellfleet Chamber of Commerce was established in 1993.  Scholarships are awarded each year to Seniors who are residents of Wellfleet and graduating from Nauset High School or Cape Cod Tech.  Scholarships are also awarded to students returning for their undergraduate years.  Toolships have also been awarded.  Since 1993 393 Scholarships totaling $480,900 have been awarded to Wellfleet Students.

The main source of income for the Chamber Scholarship continues to be the popular Wellfleet Oyster Decal.  In addition we have been the benefit for several memorials.  For many years we hosted a popular Scholarship Auction.

 In June of 2023 we awarded Scholarships to 7 Seniors and 3 returning students from Wellfleet.  All of these young people not only live in our community, but are also an important part of the local workforce as are their parents.
